SPRING PANEL: NOBODY CARES ABOUT SLAVERY...OR DO THEY?
Don't think slavery applies to you? Are you offended that we use the term slavery? Come listen to Kat Chon (Polaris Project), Ashley Judd (Hollywood actress), Siddharth Kara (author of Sex Trafficking:The Inside Business of Modern Slavery), Tim McCarthy (Director, Human Rights and Social Movements Program, Carr Center), Orlando Patterson (John Cowles Professor of Sociology), and Benjamin Skinner (author of A Crime So Monstrous) to talk about why slavery matters today and how it is more than a human rights issue. Listen how their current work intersects with modern-day slavery and human trafficking and how they got involved! Best of all, come to debate with them about the issues- we want to hear what you have to say!
